Manny Pacquiao has called out on Floyd Mayweather Jr. again in his response to the unbeaten boxer's social media attack. Recently, Mayweather posted a video of Pacquiao when he was knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez.

According to a report by the Daily Mail, Pacquiao dared Mayweather to fight him, stating that the bout shouldn't present a problem to the American boxer since he can be knocked down with no trouble. Pacquiao has said those comments during his hero's welcome for his successful title defense against Chris Algieri. The eight-division Filipino world champion was greeted by thousands of fans in the city of Makati.

On Nov. 26, Mayweather has posted a video of Pacquiao getting knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez when they fought back in 2012.

"He should step up and fight me since I am easy to knock out," Pacquiao said when asked about his reaction on Mayweather's recent social media jab. "The fans deserve that fight, I think it's time to step up and say yes."

Recently, Manila Bulletin reported that Pacquiao was even amenable to the idea of taking a lesser purse just to make the fight happen. The report said that Pacquiao is slated to get $80 million, while Mayweather will receive guaranteed prize money of $100 million.

Pacquiao has said that negotiations are taking place and he is hopeful that the fight will finally happen in May 2015. However, in any case that the Mayweather fight didn't come about or the American still refuses to fight him, Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach has said that they are already looking at other potential fighters for Pacquiao. Roach reportedly wants his protégé to fight Danny Garcia, who is Roach's first choice after Mayweather. Four more names have surfaced including Jesse Vargas, Amir Khan, and Pacquiao's longest rival Juan Manuel Marquez.

Pacquiao's adviser Michael Koncz made it clear that the aforementioned names aren't final. The Canadian said that he doesn't want to reveal any names because he doesn't want the fighters to know that they are checking them because they might demand to raise the prize purse.
