There are already trash talks going on between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather. Pacquiao recently countered Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s amusing post on social media.

Following Pacquiao's victory over Chris Algeiri, the Filipino boxing icon has been pushing for a fight against Mayweather. Pacquiao said via Manila Bulletin that the negotiations between both camps are already underway and hopes to make the fight happen in May 2015. Pacquiao is reportedly even willing to take a lesser purse just to make the fight go down.

Mayweather has kept mum on the issue, but recently, the undefeated American boxer broke his silence. He posted a video of Pacquiao getting knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez on Instagram on Nov. 26.

Instagram users reacted on Mayweather's post. One said that it is evident that Mayweather is afraid to fight Pacquiao because he doesn't want to risk his undefeated record. Another one called Mayweather coward for denying the people to witness that super fight.

While it doesn't seem to be in Pacquiao's character to take action to Mayweather's social media jabs, the Filipino welterweight champion recently tweeted in response to Mayweather's post. He believes that Mayweather is avoiding a fight with him.

Run Silent Run Deep seems to be @FloydMayweather's response to my challenge. #KhanJob #FloydRhymesWithAvoid #SixKnockdowns @trboxing

In an interview with "The Buzz," a Philippine entertainment show, Pacquiao said that Mayweather will run out of his excuses to fight him. Pacquiao said that Mayweather once stated that the Filipino boxer should just finish his fight with Algieri. Now that Pacquiao had done so, not to mention in a remarkable manner after scoring six knockdowns against Algieri, he said that Mayweather wouldn't have any excuses or demands any more.

In his recent advertisement for Foot Locker, Pacquiao has indirectly sent a message saying that Mayweather is the one who is avoiding the super fight, even though the name of the undefeated American boxer is never mentioned.

In the video, Pacquiao overheard a couple of guys talking about the Foot Locker's Week of Greatness. When Pacquiao heard something like "made it happen," he got excited and intruded the conversation.

"Wait, so the thing the people wanted is finally happening," Pacquiao said. "He's going to fight me, he's going to fight me, he's going to fight me, yes!"
