Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” is the first song to rank number one in 2016 in the United Kingdom. The song is one of the 13 tracks from the Canadian pop star’s fifth studio album entitled “Purpose.”

Bieber co-wrote “Love Yourself” with Benjamin Levin and “Thinking Out Loud” singer Ed Sheeran. It was first released on Dec. 9, 2015 as a promotional single after School Boy Records and Def Jam Recordings released “Purpose” on Nov. 13, 2015.

While Bieber’s “Love Yourself” is the song that is currently dominating the charts, Adele’s “25” is dominating the album chart, according to Billboard. Among the 11 singles from “25” are “Hello,” “When We Were Young” and “Water Under the Bridge.”

Released on Nov. 20, 2015 through XL Recording, “25” is only 6,000 weekly sales ahead of “If I Can Dream” by the late Elvis Presley on the album chart. “If I Can Dream” was released by Legacy Recordings and RCA Records on Oct. 30, 2015 and it features Presley’s archival vocal recordings accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s new arrangements.

Ranking third on the album chart is Bieber’s “Purpose,” which also includes the chart-topping singles “Sorry” and “What Do You Mean?” In its first week of release, the album sold 522,000 copies.

“Purpose” also has four collaboration songs, which are “The Feeling” featuring Halsey, “Where Are U Now” featuring Jack U, “No Sense” featuring Travi$ Scott and “No Pressure” featuring Big Sean. The other songs from the album are “Purpose,” “Children,” “Life is Worth Living,” “Company,” “I’ll Show You” and “Mark My Words.”

Meanwhile, while his song “Love Yourself” is dominating the charts, Bieber spent his vacation with his family and Hailey Baldwin in the Caribbean, where they celebrated New Year’s Eve. On Jan. 1, Friday, Bieber and Baldwin were spotted heading to a private plane together in St. Barts, Entertainment Tonight reported.
