Lorde came to BFF Taylor Swift’s defence after Katy Perry’s rumoured boyfriend, DJ Diplo, has posted several demeaning tweets about Swift’s backside. Diplo has body-shamed Swift, prompting Lorde to call him out on his “tiny penis.”

In a series of tweets on Thursday, the 36-year-old U.S. DJ told his followers that someone should start an online funding campaign to make Swift a new butt, referring to the 24-year-old country-turned-pop music songstress’ slender backside. What has prompted his sudden interest in Swift’s buttocks is unclear, but it appears that he has fooled some of his followers to not only create a campaign, but also donate to the questionable cause.

The “Get Taylor Swift a Booty” campaign has a goal of U$3,500, and has just $85 in pledge as of the time of writing. Although the campaign has posted “THIS IS A JOKE. kinda...” on its description, there were still people who wasted money to donate. Where the money would go is unknown, but it’s certain that Swift would not even consider taking it.

Swift’s dear friend Lorde didn’t find Diplo’s antics funny. The New Zealand music star has put him in his place by taking aim at his less than impressive size.

@diplo should we do something about your tiny penis while we're at it hm — Lorde (@lordemusic) November 13, 2014

Diplo’s body-shaming attack against Swift appears to be unprovoked but not entirely unexplainable. He is reported to be dating Perry, who is apparently the nemesis Swift talks about in her song “Bad Blood.” Swift never name names in her songs and interviews, but as the media have speculated, she was referring to Perry when she mentioned her “straight-up” enemy.

So if Perry has a defender in the person of her rumoured boyfriend, Swift has one in Lorde. Swift has yet to reply, but she would surely appreciate how her loyal friend came to her defence.
