Damian Lillard had 40 points, 11 assists and six rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers topped the Oklahoma City Thunder 115-111 in overtime, Tuesday at Chesapeake Energy Arena. Lillard hit 8-of-12 from 3-point range, including the 3-pointer that sent the game into overtime.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 25 points and nine boards for the Blazers, while shooting just 9-of-28 from the field. Wesley Matthews scored 22 points and went 5-of-8 from 3-point range for the Blazers, which went 17 out of 31 in 3-pointers.

The Thunder had a 12-0 run to take a 26-17 lead with 1:10 left in the first quarter. But Matthews scored eight in the first five minutes of the second to lead the Blazers in overtaking the Thunder 32-30 at 7:07 of the second quarter.

The Blazers pushed their lead to 49-38 following a 3-pointer by Lillard with 2:14 remaining in the second quarter. The Thunder cut their deficit to 51-43 after a Russell Westbrook 3-pointer, but Lillard nailed another 3 at the buzzer to give the Blazers a 54-43 at halftime.
Westbrook scored six points and Serge Ibaka hit a 3-pointer in an 11-0 Thunder burst to cut the Blazers' lead to 60-58 at 4:56 of the third.The Thunder got six points from Reggie Jackson and a basket from Kendrick Perkins to counter the Blazers' 3-pointers from C.J. McCollum and Matthews to tie the game at 73 after three quarters.

Jackson remained hot in the fourth and scored five straight as the Thunder surged to a 78-73 lead with 10:58 left in regulation. An Anthony Morrow 3-pointer with 8:33 left ignited a 13-2 run to give the Thunder a 91-78 lead with 5:04 left.

But Aldridge scored five and Lillard had a basket to rally the Blazers to within 93-75 with 2:49 remaining. Then Lillard scored six straight points in a 34-second span to put the Blazers behind by just 95-91.
Aldridge and Lillard teamed-up again to produce seven points in the finals 35 seconds to tie the game at 98 and force overtime. With Lillard hitting a 3-pointer and four free throws and Matthews hitting a 3-pointer and a jumper, the Blazers took a 111-106 lead with 2:08 left in overtime. Westbrook fouled out with 1:39 left and the Thunder wouldn't be able to rally from the deficit.

Westbrook had 40 points, 10 boards and six assists for the Thunder, which was without Kevin Durant. Jackson scored 21 while Ibaka added 16 points for the Thunder.

Lillard and Westbrook became the first pair of opponents since Larry Bird and Clyde Drexler in 1992 to have 40-10-5 performances in the same game.
