The LG G2 smartphone was just announced recently but the South Korean company appears to be preparing to introduce the new addition to the LG Vu range. Features and specs of the LG Vu 3, the third iteration for the Optimus Vu devices, were leaked online with expected launch date next to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 as a competitive approach.

Tech Web sites claim that LG plans to offer a larger screen display and superior internal specs for the upcoming LG Vu 3. The Korean Daily reports that the LG Vu 3 will sport a 5.2-inch screen size with 1280x960p resolution and maintain the 4:3 aspect ratio on the display.

The upcoming LG device is expected to have similar specs from the LG G2 like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. Additional LG Vu 3 features and specs include the 13MP camera and the support for the LTE-Advanced networks.

The LG Vu 3 is reportedly set to be unveiled on September 4 at the 2013 IFA trade show in Berlin, Germany. No statement has been released yet to confirm or deny the LG Vu 3 launch date but it is an interesting competitive approach since rival company Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy Note 3.

Samsung has already given out the official invitations for the upcoming event called "Unpacked" scheduled to take place on the 2013 IFA trade show. Features and specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Note III have been leaked as well on numerous Internet tech sites.

However, a contradicting Korean report revealed that LG will make the preparations in introducing the LG Vu 3 smartphone on the later part of September instead. The company is anticipating a positive response from the consumers this time with the LG Vu 3 since the previous LG Vu range were not as well-received as the Optimus smartphone series.
