Apart from smartphones, LG will come up with an interesting product lineup at the CES 2016 next month. The Korean tech giant will reportedly launch a refreshed Tone+ Bluetooth headset at the world's largest electronics trade show in Las Vegas.

The all-new slim and lightweight LG Tone+ 2016 (HBS-910) Bluetooth Stereo headset is packed with a more premium sound quality. The headset was manufactured in collaboration with Harman/Kardon, LG has confirmed on its official blog post. As compared to a single-layer diaphragm, the new device will sport an upgraded Quad-Layer Speaker Technology, offering a rich audio experience on higher notes.

The revamped headset will also feature dual microphones, enabling it to accurately capture voice and enhance the audio quality in noisy environments by blocking ambient noise.

With LG Tone & Talk Android app, the headset can also keep a tab of messages received by the user. The device can read out text messages and notify the user. Once the headset and the phone has been paired, the owners can also activate an alarm on the phone through the Tone+ headset. The app also incorporates two new features: Voice Memo, which allows the device to record conversations, and Find Me to help locate misplaced smartphones.

The around-the-neck audio device will deliver a better and balanced audio experience across all sound ranges. The Tone+ will be available in black, white and pink.

Starting February, the LG Tone+ headset will be launched in the US, followed by key markets in Asia and and Europe. LG has yet to announce the exact price of the headset.

Last year, LG unveiled the Tone Infinim (HSB-900) Bluetooth headset stereo with a curved design and metallic finish. The device was launched with a hefty price tag of $150 (AU$207), reports GSM Arena.
