Luka Apps of Highworth, Wiltshire, England bought a precious LEGO Christmas toy. Just like any other kid, the 7-year-old boy became upset when he lost the Jay ZX LEGO character of the Ninjago Ultrasonic Raider set while inside a supermarket so he decided to write a letter to the company about his misfortune.

According to the Sun, Simon Apps told his son Luka not to bring the toy while shopping. Since the young boy ignored his father's advice, the inevitable situation happened and Luka lost his prized toy after it managed to fall out of his coat pocket.

However, Luka Apps had a brilliant idea on how to replace his lost Jay ZX Lego figure. In his letter to LEGO, Luka formally wrote: "Hello. My name is Luka Apps and I am seven years old. With all my money I got for Christmas I bought the Ninjago kit of the Ultrasonic Raider. The number is 9449. It is really good."

The boy further explained in the letter about the unfortunate incident. He wrote: "My Daddy just took me to Sainsburys and told me to leave the people at home but I took them and I lost Jay ZX at the shop as it fell out of my coat. I am really upset I have lost him. Daddy said to send you an email to see if you will send me another one. I promise I won't take him to the shop again if you can."

According to ITV reports, Luka Apps was surprised to receive a response from LEGO who replaced the lost toy and even gave the boy some extra gifts for his honest letter request. A man named Richard from LEGO wrote back to Luka after speaking to Sensei Wu who is a Ninjago Master.

Richard's letter response stated: "We are very sorry to hear about you losing your Jay minifigure but it sounds like your dad might have been right about leaving it at home. It sounds like you a very sad about it too. Normally we would ask that you pay for a new one if you lose one of your minifigures and need to have it replaced."

Richard also stated in the letter that after his bosses refused to replace the lost toy, he decided to speak with Sensei Wu instead for help. It read: "Luka, I told Sensei Wu that losing your Jay minifigure was purely an accident and that you would never ever ever let it happen ever again."

According to Richard, Sensei Wu wants the young boy to know that his father Simon is a very wise man and afterwards allowed the replacement of the lost toy.

"You must always protect your Ninjago minifigures like the dragons protect the Weapons of Spinjitzu!' Sensei Wu also told me it was okay if I sent you a new Jay and told me it would be okay if I included something extra for you because anyone that saves their Christmas money to buy the Ultrasonic Raider must be a really big Ninjago fan," Richard wrote in the letter.

Finally, Richard stated that hopefully Luka will enjoy his new Jay minifigure including all of his weapons and to keep in mind Sensei Wu's instruction.

"You will actually have the only Jay minifigure that combines 3 different Jays into one! I am also going to send you a bad guy for him to fight!"

"Keep your minifigures protected like the Weapons of Spinjitzu! And of course, always listen to your dad. You will see an envelope from LEGO within the next two weeks with your new minifigures. Please take good care of them, Luka. Remember that you promised to always leave them at home," Richard noted.

Simon Apps was obviously in awe with the LEGO customer services response that he expressed his gratitude to the company on the famous social networking site Twitter. "We were all really impressed with the reply from Richard at @lego_group. He definitely deserves a pat on the back," Luka's father wrote on his Twitter account @simonapps on January 7.
