Few details were only revealed about Luke Skywalker’s whereabouts during his cameo in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” However, a recently-leaked Writers Guild of America (WAG) script has provided now new information about the Jedi Master’s location in the film.

According to Heroic Hollywood, Disney gave few of the scripts for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” to WAG members recently. One of the screenplays got leaked and it contained information about the name of Luke Skywalker’s (Mark Hamill) location in the Star Wars Universe.

Following the events of “Return of the Jedi,” Luke Skywalker sought refuge in a mysterious planet. This planet has now been identified as the planet of Ahch-To, according to the leaked WAG script.

Lucasfilm’s Story Group member Pablo Hidalgo likewise confirmed the name of the planet on Twitter.

No further details were revealed regarding the mysterious planet. However, it’s believed to be where the First Jedi Temple is located. Luke Skywalker has reportedly been searching for the temple all those 30 years of his self-exile following the events of “Return of the Jedi.”

The planet of Ahch-To was only briefly glimpsed in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” Nearing the end of the movie, R2D2, Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) travelled to the planet to see Luke Skywalker. Rey finally meets the Jedi Master face-to-face and hands him his lightsaber.

The Unesco Heritage site of Skellig Michael Island is being used to represent planet Ahch-To in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and its sequel “Star Wars: Episode VIII.” One of the tourists on the island said back in September that he noticed one of the set up in the movie included a rocky structure. This setup supposedly represents the “Jedi Monastery.” It’s believed to be where Hamill’s Luke Skywalker will be standing when he films his scenes that involve wind and rain machines.

According to Comic Book, a real-life monastery in Skellig Michael Island will also be used in “Star Wars: Episode VIII.” This only fuels rumours that Luke Skywalker has finally found the First Jedi Temple.

Perhaps more details about the planet of Ahch-To will be revealed in “Star Wars: Episode VIII” when Hamill returns to reprise Luke Skywalker.
