Lea Michele may have done her best to move on from the dark period of her life when she lost her fiancé, Cory Monteith, but this does not mean she forgotten about the once famous actor. Two years after his death, Michele took to her Instagram a heartwarming message of remembrance.

On the second anniversary of former “Glee” star actor, his co-star and fiancee Michele posted a message on her Instagram to make people know that she has not forgotten him. Lea said that she is sure Monteith would want them all “laughing and smiling” on that quite memorable day. "So we think of you and remember all the laughter and joy we shared together. I hold you in my heart always and love and miss you so," the post read. The message is written alongside picture of Monteith smiling widely while driving.

Monteith’s death anniversary is not the only time when Michele pay respects or honours her ex-boyfriend. On May 11, which would have been the actor’s 33rd birthday, Michele also took to her Instagram to post another picture of Monteith, this time happily playing the drums. She added a message that said she is sure Monteith is also “serenading everyone” wherever he is. She also greeted him a happy birthday.

Back in 2013, she opened up to Elle magazine that coping with the death had been difficult for her. However, she wanted to be strong so that others who are going through the same grief can find solace from her by feeling “some sort of strength or comfort.”

She added that there is no one greater for her than Cory so she would always cherish the memories and time she had with him. People magazine reported this year that Michele is already dating Matthew Paetz. She allegedly met the actor and model while filming for her music video, “On My Way” back in April 2014. A source however, told People magazine that it took a long time for Michele to start thinking about getting into a new relationship. The source added that Monteith’s death would always be a struggle for the actress.
