It was 33 years ago that the underground film C'était un Rendezvous was shot, and rumour still surrounds its creation. Director Claude Lelouch attached a camera to the front bumper of -- depending on who you believe -- a Mercedes-Benz 450SEL and raced through the empty streets of Paris at daybreak.

The amazing part about the movie is it was shot in a single take while afterwards the sounds of a Ferrari 275 GTB were added. It's still unknown who drove the car, and because of his efforts, Lelouch was arrested.

Now, Lamborghini has created its own version of the film, to promote the Super Trofeo Stradale, a car that has us all salivating, despite its limited production. In honour of the original film, we've included it below. Enjoy the sounds and, of course, the driving.
