Lady Gaga is queen of controversies and Miley Cyrus is following her footsteps to reach there. But what will happen when both pop stars are combined? Well you get another controversial story.

Lady Gaga has tweeted an older picture of herself with Miley Cyrus with the caption, "DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILDREN WITH LADY GAGA."

The picture shows a fully clothed Miley with long black hair back in her Disney days. Miley looks demure in a black jacket, a white t-shirt and a necklace she wears. While a blond Lady Gaga is seen in her loudest best with bright red outfit and matching eye make-up covering her face. The caption is the catchiest as it not only pokes fun at Miley but also reveals Gaga's guts to take the "blame" on her.

Miley's fans also known as "Smilers" did not seem to understand Lady Gaga's sense of humour and took it as an insult for Miley Cyrus. We are fully aware that the "Wrecking Ball" pop star is on her way to "make history" by her twerking, her racy outfits, her controversial nude music videos and who can forget the raunchy weird MTV Video Music Awards performance? Her latest bizarre effort to make her fans forget her past image was the revealing fishnet outfit she wore at the iHeartRadio Music Festival over the weekend.

Miley's fans - Smilers let out their outburst at Twitter and even made hash tag #SmilersWantLadyGagaDead a trending topic on Twitter! But many Twitter users were both a Miley and Lady Gaga fan and urged others to take the comment as a "joke."

"Why #SmilersWantLadyGagaDead is trending? Because of Gaga's tweet? IT WAS A JOKE. Relax and buy Applause on itunes," said one user @ofsusbeslk on Twitter user.

"#SmilersWantLadyGagaDead is trending worldwide while Lady Gaga stands up for Miley Cyrus. pic.twitter.com/3r1jsA6Yhs," said another user @Prateikpawar, who also posted the picture of Lady Gaga's recent interview with Andy Cohen where she defended Miley Cyrus' performance saying that she is "just growing up in front of the world." Gaga was one of the first few who stood up for Miley after her VMAs backlash.

Gaga has been in news over her Twitter controversies. First it was a war of words with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton who did not promote Gaga's single "Applause" and called her rival Katy Perry's "Roar" better than it. Then more recently she was involved in Twitter war with Adam Levine who called Gaga's music unoriginal and "recycled."
