Singer Lady GaGa revealed that she has been wounded with the massive body image issues and the constant criticism by her one-time hero Madonna.

In a new posted blog on her Little Monsters website, Lady GaGa finally addressed the drama that has been surrounding her hit single "Born This Way." What exactly does Mother Monster have to say?

"The past year was a challenge, and I'm so happy to have my spirit back. I felt in chains at times," Lady GaGa wrote.

Her song "Born This Way" was musically compared to the 1989 hit "Express Yourself" by the Queen of Pop Madonna when it was released. Madonna called the track reductive and even sang the chorus of "Born This Way" during the "Express Yourself" performance in her new tour to emphasize the similarities between the two tracks.

"I thought, 'What a wonderful way to redo my song.' I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was interesting," Madonna sneered when she was asked about Lady GaGa's song "Born This Way."

According to reports, the long rumored Madonna versus Lady GaGa feud was confirmed by Elton John during an interview. "She's been horrible to GaGa," Elton John, who is obviously on Team GaGa, revealed.

"There was of course the incessant dragging of the most important single of my career in dead-beaten-horse-mud. Then there were all the personal moments. Betrayed by lifelong friends, mentors I've had for years suddenly taking advantage of me, and a massive struggle with my body image," Lady GaGa further wrote on the blog.

The 26-year old singer also gave a hint that the single choices from her "Born This Way" album were messed up and claimed that her record label disagreed with her selections.

Meanwhile, Lady GaGa no longer expanded on her body image issues but the quirky singer thanked her fans for the support that she has been receiving.

"I've grown and left most of these things behind, the monsters of fame are very real," Lady GaGa wrote. The blog is reported to be posted as a promotion for the short film of Lady GaGa's new fragrance called "Fame" which the singer proudly said to be done without external influence. "I am feeling blessed to have removed those from my life driven by money and luxury, it's all about the art of it. I feel free today," Lady GaGa said.

Lady GaGa, who premiered her new song called "Princess Die" during her Australian tour, is currently working on a new album.
