Doting mother Kris Jenner is reportedly playing matchmaker for her daughter Kendall Jenner. Kris is said to be eyeing the newly single Zayn Malik to be paired with the model.

Mirror UK reports that Kris took the opportunity to pair up Kendall with the former One Direction member during Kylie’s 18th birthday bash at The Nice Guy restaurant in West Hollywood. It’s believed Kris purposely invited the singer to the party, considering he knows no one from their group, because she wanted to push the 22-year-old with Kendall.

A source told The Sun that the 19-year-old model was embarrassed after Kris tried to pair her up with the singer. Her mother was reportedly making the moves so Kendall could spend some time with Zayn during Kylie’s party.

“Kendall is actually quite shy and was mortified at her mum being so obvious but eventually she relaxed and was talking to Zayn, just the two of them. Khloe and some friends joined them and clearly Zayn was feeling more confident so he put his arm around her,” the source revealed.

Kendall was reportedly also seen putting her arms around Zayn’s waist after she had relaxed and was feeling more comfortable around him. It’s believed the pair ended up exchanging phone numbers and Kris has been pestering her daughter to keep in contact with Zayn even while she’s vacationing in Mexico.

This is not the first time that Kris has been reported to have played matchmaker when it comes to her daughter’s relationships with men. Closer Online says she once set Kendall up with Zayn’s pal, Harry Styles. However, the source said that no one seemed worried over this when Kris paired Kendall with Zayn.

“Their attitude was it was a casual relationship a long time ago,” the source said, referring to Kendall’s dates with Harry.

As for Zayn, the singer has been enjoying his single life. He was rumoured to have taken a special interest in Disney star Zendaya Coleman and was reported to have been texting “Big Brother” star Chloe Goodman. Zayn was previously engaged to “Little Mix” singer Perrie Edwards.
