The January 2015 edition of the British GQ magazine features Kit Harington, the English actor who portrays character Jon Snow from the hit HBO fantasy drama TV series "Game of Thrones." Kit Harington, 27, talked about how the role of Jon Snow in "Game of Thrones" changed his life and career.

In an exclusive GQ interview preview released on Monday, Dec. 1, Kit Harington admitted that "Game of Thrones" is currently his life because it is his day job. However, the English actor added that if there is an existing curse of Thrones, it is a lifetime of having to talk about the HBO series.

The GoT star further shared that he is now getting recognized wherever he goes because of his on-screen character Jon Snow. Kit Harington explained that he is more recognizable in public compared to the much better-known actors because he goes around looking like his "Game of Thrones" character, Jon Snow.

The actor is contractually not allowed to cut off his long curly hair for "Game of Thrones." Aside from the signature Jon Snow hairstyle, Kit Harington is known for his on- and off-screen trademark facial expression.

Kit Harington revealed that there were some people who approached him in the streets to ask if he was doing okay. "But this is my default. I laugh, I make jokes, I just happen to reside in this face," the actor explained.

Portraying Jon Snow in "Game of Thrones" is Kit Harington's first major role right after he left acting school. The actor's television success has landed him more projects both on the small and big screen.

In a previous report, it has been revealed that Kit Harington is set to star in another upcoming HBO production titled "7 Days in Hell" which is a sports mockumentary. "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star Andy Samberg will be joining the GoT star in the upcoming HBO comedy movie.

As for his movie projects, the fans can watch Kit Harington in the upcoming films "Testament of Youth" and "Seventh Son." The full interview on GoT star Kit Harington in British GQ is scheduled to be released on Thursday, Dec. 4.

"Game of Thrones" is scheduled to return with season 5 in 2015 on HBO.
