Fans of "The Originals" will have to patiently wait one more week for the mid-season finale episode of the CW spinoff series to be aired. Fortunately, the CW Network has released promo photo stills from "The Originals" Season 2, episode 9 titled "The Map of Moments" to tease more about Rebekah (Claire Holt) and baby Hope's appearance in the upcoming episode.

The promo photo stills show a different side of Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) as he reunites with his baby daughter, Hope. In an exclusive Zap2it interview, "The Originals" star Claire Holt talked about how her character, Rebekah Mikaelson, reacts to seeing Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), Hoper's mother, again. The 26-year-old Aussie actress revealed that the Rebekah-Hayley reunion will not be an awkward one.

"Hayley knows Rebekah is saving her child's life. There's a really touching moment when she sees Hope for the first time," Holt shared. As for Hayley, Aussie actress Phoebe Tonkin revealed that her character's main concern in "The Originals" Season 2 is to make sure that New Orleans will be a safe place or environment for her daughter to live in and be a normal mom to Hope.

"But I don't know necessarily how easy that's going to be," the actress teased. According to the episode synopsis in a Hypable report, the mid-season finale is going to be a holiday reunion for the Mikaelson family members.

Klaus and Hayley will be meeting Rebekah in the Mikaelson family safe house to see their daughter. Rebekah still notices the unusual change in Elijah's (Daniel Gillies) behavior.

Additionally, Rebekah and Klaus will be teaming up on a plan of taking down their mother, Esther (Sonja Sohn). However, the Original witch makes an unlikely alliance with Mikael (Sebastian Roché) making things dangerous for Klaus.

Other details in the synopsis revealed that Kol (Daniel Sharman) will be sharing to Davina (Danielle Campbell) about a spell that he created back in 1914, Elijah continues to struggle with the effects of his mother's torture on him and Hayley will make a decision that could change her relationship with Elijah forever.

"The Originals" Season 2 mid-season finale episode titled "The Map of Moments" is scheduled to air on Monday night, Dec. 8, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the CW Network.
