“Cold Mountain” stars Jude Law and Charlie Hunnam reunites in Guy Ritchie’s Arthurian tale remake “Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur” with Hunnam playing King Arthur and Law playing the villainous Vortigern. The two actors are spotted recently on the cold mountain of Snowdonia as filming begun in North Wales.

Best known for his role on FX biker drama series “Sons of Anarchy,” Hunnam is slowly making his way to the big screen after wrapping up his seven-year TV stint. Now considered as one of Hollywood’s bankable actor, the 35-year-old star started the film’s production over a month ago and was recently spotted in full costume as he left behind his biker swag and get into full regal character as King Arthur.

The “Crimson Peak” star was transported back in time as he walks around the set in his sheepish attire with brown trousers and matching boots. Still rocking his SOA signature scruff, Hunnam was photographed with a shorter locks as he was flanked by an army of men in period dress, including “Blood Diamond” star Djimon Hounsou as he is set to play Arthur’s trusted knight, Bedivere.

“It was difficult to get sight of the remote shoot, but it’s clear to see they’ve got a smash on their hands,” an onlooker told the Daily Post. “The vast landscape makes it look like the series is going to be the next Lord of the Rings.”

Spotted in one location is the 42-year-old star who is reuniting with his “Sherlock Holmes” director Guy Ritchie. Braving the cold in full chainmail and armour, Law recently welcomed his fifth child, a baby girl, with ex-girlfriend Cat Cavelli last month. The actor reportedly met the young singer when he was in location in the Czech Republic for his film “Spy.”

Meanwhile, other stars who are spotted on location is “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” actress Astrid Berges-Frisbey as she is set to play the Arthurian love interest Guinevere. Looking striking in a red dress, the star was photographed stroking the head of the horse in one of her scenes.

The “Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur” ensemble cast also includes Eric Bana (“Hulk”) as Uther Pendragon and Carry Delevingne’s sister Poppy Delevingne as Arthur’s mother Ingraine. “Game of Thrones” star Aidan Gillen will play as Goosefat Bill in the latest remake of the Arthurian legend which is set to premiere in July next year.
