TV personality and social media maven Kim Kardashian just might have paved the way into making Twitter experience more user-friendly. On Saturday, the influential reality star shared that she has asked the popular micro-blogging site to consider adding an edit option and the company’s CEO has responded favourably.

Kardashian has been spending a lot of time sharing her life on various social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram. On Saturday, she told her followers that she thought of a way to make the Twitter experience better for everyone and that she had already asked the administrators to consider it.

Thousands of Kardashian’s followers saw the tweet and retweeted it or marked it as a favourite. The response was almost immediate as Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey acknowledged Kardashian’s tweet. He replied and commended her for the idea. He said:

Kardashian thanked Dorsey and happily included the hashtag #FounderOfTwitterUnderstands. At the moment, once a tweet is posted into a user’s account, there is no way to edit or change anything. As Kardashian stated, one needs to delete the errant tweet and repost it if there is a correction to be made. With close to 34 million followers on the site, Kardashian is one of the most high profile customers that’s sustaining the platform. It remains to be seen if her suggestion will translate into actual results.

Last month, Kardashian also spoke about her close contact with Twitter administration. After she fired off a string of tweets filled with expletives, she shared that Twitter contacted her to ask if her account had been hacked. She laughed off the incident and said that she was just pregnant and feeling feisty. At the time, she was shooting down several rumours that have come out about her pregnancy.

Kardashian is currently pregnant with her second child. She and her husband Kanye West also have a 2-year-old daughter called North.
