It is now apparent that Motorola has scheduled an event on Sept. 4 to unveil a slew of Moto devices. Although there are many device names making rounds, the Moto G successor Moto G2, the Moto X successor Moto X+1 and the much-awaited Moto 360 smartwatch can be expected from the event.

With a killer success story starting with Moto G followed by Moto X and Moto E, the company Motorola is now planning to announce the Moto G2 handset. As expected, the G2 will reportedly be a budget-friendly handset. Freshly leaked crystal-clear images from the source named Hellomotohk showcase the never-before-seen Moto G2 pictures from every angle. Apparently, the source has a dedicated Facebook page flaunting the upcoming Moto G2 in the form of a teaser, according to Phone Arena.

Going by the leaked images, the Moto G2 will come with narrow bezels when compared to its predecessor. Also, the device will flaunt a 5.0-inch display and 720p screen resolution. It is worth mentioning that the Moto G comes with only 4.5-inch display along with the same 720p resolution. Hence, Motorola has leaped quite far with the upcoming device specific to screen size. Also, the device will reportedly be powered by a quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 400) processor backed by 1 GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the device will sport an 8 MP rear-facing camera unit and stereo speakers facing the front. The predecessor, on the other hand, comes with only 5 MP camera unit. When it comes to memory, the Moto G2 will house 8 GB and 16 GB of internal storage capacities and a microSD card slot for further expansion. Notably, the 2013 Moto G does not come with expandable memory option. However, the Moto G 4G released in 2014 comes with microSD card slot. Moreover, Hellomotohk's Facebook page also says that the Moto G2 will come equipped with dual-SIM support.

In addition, the smartphone will feature replaceable rear panel in order to enable the device owner to customize the rear shells with the help of Motorola Moto Maker site. The expected price range of the Moto G2 is £200 that roughly translates to US$331 and AU$355, according to Tech Radar.
