Khloe Kardashian recently clarified that even though she has called off her divorce from Lamar Odom, it doesn’t mean that they are together again. The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star said that a romantic reconciliation with the former NBA player is not her priority at the moment.

In an exclusive interview with People, Kardashian revealed that the divorce dismissal was done mostly because of Odom’s medical condition. It reportedly does not mean that they have gotten back together after filing for divorce in December 2013.

“It's out in the media that we are back together, but I wish people understood that's not in our thought process right now. There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It's not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now," she said.

The 31-year-old explained that finalising her divorce from Odom can wait. She considers it “bad timing” to proceed with the divorce, given the former basketball player’s health condition. Kardashian told People that there’s “no rush” to proceed with the divorce and that it’s “just smarter” to put it on hold for the time being while Odom recuperates.

“I'm not trying to get married tomorrow to anybody. That's a whole other thing that only time will tell,” Kardashian told People in her first interview following Odom’s hospitalisation.

According to Huffington Post, in the same interview, Kardashian also mentioned how she will always love Odom and will always be there for him, as she has promised. However, it doesn’t mean that they have to be together to prove that she loves him since she believes a person is allowed “to love from afar.”

Prior to her interview with People, Kardashian expressed her gratitude to her friends, family and fans for their support in the past days following Odom’s tragic accident. She took to her website to write a lengthy message. She also thanked the doctors at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas for the utmost care and attention they gave to Odom when he was put in an induced coma following a suspected overdose on drugs.
