Khloe Kardashian’s fears about the well-being of her ex-husband Lamar Odom finally became a reality. The former NBA star is currently battling for his life after he was found unconscious at a Nevada love ranch on Tuesday. Prior to the incident, Kardashian had expressed her worry over what Odom might do to himself following their divorce.

Just two weeks ago, an episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians" showed the NBA star's ex receiving an emotional call from Odom after he learned about his best friend Jamie Sangouthai’s death in June. The call led the reality star to worry about her ex-husband’s emotional state.

In the video below, Kardashian can be heard saying how the tragic death of Lamar’s best friend since he was 12 is “just really upsetting.” She also said that his best friend's death could cause serious emotional trauma for the basketball star.

“He's distraught and devastated. Lamar has suffered so much loss in his life. I'm really on high alert for Lamar because I mean, anything I think will set him to spiral, and that's kind of the last thing I want for him,” Kardashian says in the video, adding that she will always be there for Odom.

True to her words, Kardashian is said to be currently at Odom’s bedside as the latter remains in a coma. Although the ex-couple filed for divorce in July, a source told CNN that Kardashian will still be the one to decide regarding the medical conditions of her ex-husband. The ex-couple's divorce papers have reportedly not been finalised.

Meanwhile, there have been conflicting reports as to what really caused the tragic incident. According to NBC News, the NBA star collapsed after taking herbal Viagra, which was sold at the love ranch owned by Dennis Hof.

The 911 recorded call released by the Nevada sheriff’s office on Wednesday revealed details about Odom’s condition before he was rushed to a Las Vegas hospital. A woman said he was found with “blood coming out of his nose” and “white stuff coming out of his mouth.” It was also said that Odom was not breathing. Nye County Sheriff Sharon Wehrly told reporters on Wednesday that the 35-year-old had been taking cocaine on Saturday, Oct. 10, before he checked in to the brothel.

Investigations are reportedly still ongoing. Odom's blood sample has been forwarded to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police laboratory to help determine the actual cause of his collapse.
