A Kenyan man who suspected his wife of cheating on him claims to have used black magic to punish her and wife’s lover. The man did not evidence, so he asked the help of a witch doctor to catch the wife.

The witch doctor allegedly placed a curse on the woman. Elite Reader reports that the curse would cause the organ on the man to be stuck inside the cheating wife. In medical terms, it is called penis captivus, according to Medical Daily.

The wife and her lover were caught by the angry husband who called the police. However, the cops failed to separate the lovers. The husband allegedly refused to break the spell, which prompted the lover to offer him a $205 or 20,000 shillings payment for the damage and embarrassment from the scandal they caused the couple.

The spell was allegedly broken after a pastor prayed over the woman and her lover who were captured in a video, which appears to be three years old, still locked together. The pastor was quoted as asking the lover if he believes in the power of God. When the man replied “Yes,” the pastor ordered him “Pull that thing out!” Within a few minutes, he was able to pull his penis out.

Police escorted the lover to an ATM to withdraw the money and keep his promise. The husband separated from his wife, who the report said kept on crying in shame after she was caught in the act.

Medical experts, however, would explain penis captivus as not the effect of a curse but to the male organ increasingly engorged when inside the vagina. “The muscles of the woman’s pelvic floor contract rhythmically at orgasm … While those muscles contract, the penis becomes stuck and further engorged within [the vagina] until the muscles relax,” explains Dr John Dean, clinical director of gender and sexual medicine at the Devon Partnership NHS Trust in southwest England.

When the woman’s muscles relax, blood from the penis can flow out again, and the man’s organ decrease in size which allows him to withdraw, adds Dean, reports BBC Health Check, debunking also in the process the impact of the pastor’s action. The medical phenomenon of vaginismus makes vaginal spasms too powerful and painful that the vagina closes, explains the National Institutes of Health.

Dean clarifies that penis captivus often lasts between five and ten seconds only, although he said the couples in the situation feel like it is an eternity. Medical Daily cites two rare instances of penis captivus confirmed by doctors. The first happened in 1910, when doctors gave the woman chloroform – as anaesthetic – to relax her and allow the release of the man’s organ, according to a 1979 article by Dr F Kraupl Taylor in the British Medical Journal. The second was in 1947 when the couple, who was on their honeymoon, was brought locked on a single stretcher to the Royal Isle of Wight County Hospital in south England, according to Dr Brendan Musgrave who was a houseman at the hospital.

Dean points out that penis captivus frequently happens to animals, especially dogs which people see locked which mating on the streets.
