Everything takes time to heal. And this includes the broken heart of Katy Perry.

The pop star who recently released the official video of her latest single, 'Wide Awake,' has found the perfect cure for her broken heart - a long break.

Perry said in a recent interview that right after the release of her 3D movie, 'Katy Perry: Part of Me,' she is all set to take a longer break than the usual from all the chaos of the entertainment business.

The 'Teenage Dream' star also thought that it could be the best thing to do after all the heartbreak, tears and issues that have piled up in her life after her divorce with Russell Brand. It was during her interview with Extra when Perry said that her career demands became one of the main reasons of her untimely divorce.

Perry added that she is not too hesitant to fall deeply in love again. In fact, she has shown everyone how much she is willing to move on by being linked recently to a good number of good looking men like French model Baptiste Giabiconi, and Florence + The Machine guitarist, Robert Ackroyd.

Excited For The Release of 3D Film On The Big Screen

Katy Perry said that her movie will reveal a different side of her that many fail to see beyond her colorful costumes and extravagant numbers. The movie will emphasize on the side of her life where she overcame obstacles, including the strict set of rules and beliefs of her own family.

It will also reveal the much-awaited backstage scenes that will show everyone how much Perry was hurt by the surprise divorce filed Russell Brand made when she was in the middle of a world tour.

No Regrets, Just Love

Just like how her 'Teenage Dream' lyrics go, Katy Perry shared that she has no regrets in marrying the British comedian and writer. No matter how many times the pop star is asked about this, she untiringly gives the same answer.

"Actually, it's really a lesson learned and it's super valuable, I could not buy this lesson," Perry said.

Instead of hovering over the bad memories, Perry gets the most out of it by using all her life's lessons as materials for her original songs.
