Kate Middleton was dressed for a cool day during her visit to Dundee in Scotland on Friday, Oct. 23. The Duchess of Cambridge and her husband, Prince William, visited the Scottish city for the first time. They were there on an official engagement.

Middleton looked beautiful in a royal blue dress coat, paired with a black turtleneck jumper. The 33-year-old’s royal blue coat, by Scottish designer Christopher Kane, was a nod to the host country.

The slim-fitted dogtooth kilt, wool-style tailored coat featured a thin belt, Hello reports. The dress coat is reportedly strikingly similar to the one the Duchess wore to the Olympics Opening Ceremony in 2012.

Middleton also wore black opaque tights along with her favourite pair of suede Aquatalia knee-high boots. She accessorised with a black clutch bag by Stuart Weitzman. The mother of two glowed in matching blue drop earrings and suede gloves.

The engagement marked the first visit to Dundee by the royal couple, who are the Earl and Countess of Strathearn in Scotland. The pair’s visit focused on the mental health of young people - an issue which holds a special place in Middleton and Prince William’s heart. The doting mother has previously spoken about the need to provide early support to children, and earlier this month, Middleton celebrated World Mental Health day.

Meanwhile, People reports that when Fearghas Simpson, 28, a recruitment executive from Ayr, asked Middleton if the Duke was still riding his motorbike, she replied that her husband still does and said that she is terrified every time Prince William goes out on his Ducati superbike. “I’m terrified. Hopefully, I’m going to keep George off it,” she said.

On Thursday, the royal couple visited St. Andrews University, which gave them a chance to walk down memory lane, Express UK reports. With Prince George and his five-month-old sister, Princess Charlotte, at home with the nanny, the couple enjoyed a rare date night in the university city where they met and fell in love more than a decade ago. They stayed at The Old Course Hotel in St. Andrews and had a romantic meal in the hotel.
