The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, is slowly but surely becoming an icon in fashion. Surely, there seems to be nothing she wears that won't be copied or sold out. And with that, it's quite obvious to spot that lace and nude pumps are staple favorites of the Duchess.

The 30-year-old Duchess of Cambridge saved the best for last at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebration. Kate Middleton stepped out in an elegant form hugging lace dress that was designed by Sarah Burton from Alexander McQueen, the same designer responsible for her iconic wedding dress.

To complete the look, she paired the dress with her signature L.K. Bennett nude pumps which is an obvious favorite of hers. It seems that throughout a short period of time, the Duchess of Cambridge already figured out what works best for her, and that is lace and nude pumps.

When she visited Canada, she opted to wear something from Canadian designer Erdem which was a navy lace Cecile dress. And during the premier of Steven Spielberg's "War Horse," Kate Middleton chose to wear a floor length black lace dress from British designer Alice Temperley.

And to go with all her staple dresses and couture, she is often, if not most of the time, wearing her signature nude pumps by L.K. Bennett. The designer has been made popular since the Duchess of Cambridge patronized the shoe brand. Nude and shiny pumps even managed to be a style staple for some.
