The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, and his brother, Prince Harry, may be able to witness the birth of the Duchess of Cambridge’s second baby after all. William has reportedly filed for an early paternity leave while Harry may be given some time off to return to London from his base in Australia.

Kate Middleton is days away from giving birth to baby no. 2, with reports claiming she’s due on April 25. There were some previous concerns whether her husband, Prince William, would be able to make it on time for the second baby’s birth, considering his work is based 115 miles away from London, in Norfolk. However, according to a Kensington Palace spokesperson, the Duke of Cambridge is already in London with the Duchess, anticipating the royal baby’s birth.

The spokesperson told US Weekly that Prince William has already taken an early paternity leave since he has “completed the first phase of his in-work air ambulance helicopter pilot training with Bond Air Services earlier than anticipated.” Prince William was reportedly able to perform well in the various modules, which allowed him to take days off work early. The spokesperson also credited the “very good flying conditions that allowed flight training and assessment to progress more quickly than had been planned.” Prince William will reportedly not be returning back to Norfolk until June 1, so the Duke of Cambridge still has plenty of days left to spend quality time with Kate Middleton and their two children, Prince George and the new baby.

It’s believed Prince Harry will also be able to make it to the second royal baby’s birth in London. According to E Online, Harry is currently in Australia for a one-month service with the Australian Army's North-West Mobile Force, or NORFORCE, and the 1st Brigade. However, as a patron of the London Marathon Charitable Trust, he may be flying back to the UK on Sunday to present medals to the winners.

The exact due date of Kate Middleton is still unknown. However, if royal baby no. 2 comes out on Sunday, April 26, then Prince Harry would be able to personally welcome his niece or nephew in London even for a short while. E Online said he’s scheduled to return to Australia on Monday, April 27.
