On 30 August 2013, Kate Middleton made her first public appearance since welcoming Prince George at the ultra-marathon in Anglesey. The royal couple interacted with volunteers and runners taking part in the Ring O'Fire event, a three-day 135-mile coastal run.

Attendees at the event said locals would miss the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. "She's been seen shopping in Waitrose, out and about and on the beach at Rhosneigr, "They have done wonders for the tourist industry." Louise Emery-Jones, 38, from Menai Bridge, Anglesey, told the BBC

Prince William lately attended the Anglesey Show, and administrator Aled Hughes told the Daily Post: "I'm so pleased the way the people of Anglesey have given them the privacy they deserve and made it homely for them so that they can relax without the need to be overpowered by security."

"William and Kate really enjoyed their time at this house," "They are sad to leave the cottage but I'm sure there will be plenty of interest in it," "It's not every day a member of the public can live in the same house as royalty." One source said according to www.dailyrecord.co.uk.

Since the royal couple moved in the location of the property has been a closely shielded secret. With access to a private beach and spectacular views over Snowdonia the property is off the beaten track now.
