After six weeks of being away from the limelight, Kate Middleton is back to her healthy self with her charming smile as she greeted Singapore's President Tony Tan, alongside Prince William on Oct. 21, Tuesday. After suffering from an extreme case of morning sickness, the Duchess is reportedly not pregnant with twins but a single royal baby.

With so many rumours going around that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting twins, a palace spokesperson ended allegations and confirmed she is not carrying twins. But the royal couple is still keeping it quite about their baby's gender although fans of the royal family are already betting for a baby girl.

Tina Burgess of Examiner notes both William and Kate's family don't have any history of twins, and the Duchess is definitely not taking any fertility drugs so a twin pregnancy is clearly out of the picture. The report adds Prince Harry seems to think it could be a boy for the second time around based on the paternal side of the family.

Now that her condition is steadily improving, the 32-year-old mother of one is officially back with her royal duties with the baby's due date at the end of April next year. A perfect timing for the couple's fourth wedding anniversary, who tied the knot in Westminster Abbey on April 29.

"Confirmation of the expected birth of one baby -- and not twins -- in April suggests Kate Middleton has had her 12-week scan and seen images of the baby for the first time," Examiner reports. "Besides speculations about the sex of Kate Middleton's baby and potential names (including James, William, Diana or Elizabeth), there have also been speculations that the baby's birth could coincide with the 89th birthday of its great-grandmother the Queen on April 21."

Reportedly conceived in early August, when the couple was travelling in Belgium for the WWI commemorations, the second royal baby was announced on Sept. 8. Kate was forced to cancel 17 engagements while she was fighting her extreme morning sickness, but she is up and well for her scheduled public appearances, including an alleged trip to the Big Apple with Prince William.
