People have yet to see Kate Middleton out in the public again following the announcement of her second pregnancy last Sept. 8. Reports claimed she will likely resume her duties anytime soon as she has royal engagements lined up this month. However, the Duchess of Cambridge may still not be able to commit to public appearance since her health is still supposedly of utmost importance, especially since she's been suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. However, Kate was recently photographed out in London, all smiles, which seem to discredit previous claims that she is still not well.

The last time Kate Middleton was seen in public was during the poppy installation at the London Tower on Aug. 5. Since then, the Duchess of Cambridge has been pulling out of royal engagements because of her morning sickness, which causes extreme nausea and vomiting. However, New York Daily News has all the latest details and photos showing Kate Middleton out in public for the first time since Aug. 5.

Kate Middleton, along with husband Prince William, reportedly came from a doctor's appointment on Oct. 15. It's believed the royal couple met with Dr. Alan Farthing for the Duchess' first trimester scan, which, according to Duchess Kate, would suggest she is 12 weeks pregnant. As seen on the photos, the Duchess of Cambridge had a smile on her face, which could hint all is well with her pregnancy. The couple is also seen stepping out of the London clinic following the after-dark consultation. Braving the rain, Kate is seen clutching at her growing baby bump while William held on to a brown envelope, which is believed to contain images of the baby's scan. NY Daily News adds Kate also couldn't contain her excitement as they left the clinic.

However, there's still no definite time as to when the Duchess would officially resume her public engagements. She's expected to welcome Singapore's President Tony Tan on his U.K. visit on Oct. 21, according to the International Business Times. However, there's little certainty Kate Middleton would commit to the engagement. Royal aides have reportedly confirmed her health condition would remain as basis for her attendance on the said royal engagement.
