Kate Middleton and Prince William are expected to pay a visit to New York next month. Reportedly, the pregnant Duchess and Prince William would go on a three-day visit to the Big Apple to unveil a new charity called United for Wildlife.

According to CBS, the charity aims to stop illegal poaching and wildlife trade. The official announcement regarding the royal couple's visit to New York is yet to come; however, according to a Wall Street Journal report the duo is planning their first trip to the states since 2011.

Moreover, it has also been reported that Middleton, who is currently pregnant with her second child, is "excited" for the trip as she has intended to visit the city since her childhood, according to Daily Mail. "Kate has never been to New York and she is really looking forward to it now that she is over her illness," a source reveals. "Kate was upset she had to cancel her tour of Malta, but now she is over her morning sickness and really excited about America," another source divulged to the website.

Middleton, who suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum, till some time back, is now regaining her health and has been allowed by the doctors to take on official engagements. Sixteen-month-old Prince George may also accompany his parents for the visit. Once in New York, the Duke and Duchess are reported to have discussions with conservationists for the benefit of the charity. The charity spokesperson has reportedly confirmed the involvement of the royal couple, and the official announcement is expected to be made shortly.

Meanwhile, Middleton recently made a trip to Wales. She dressed her baby bump in a blue overcoat for an oil refinery visit, which was celebrating its 50th anniversary. She, along with Prince William, also attended the Remembrance Day in London and paid tribute to the fallen servicemen of World War I. The Duchess opted for an all-black ensemble for the occasion. She added a poppy brooch to her outfit to symbolise the poppy fields where soldiers fell during the war. Middleton would be next seen attending the Royal Variety Gala at London Palladium on Nov. 13.
