While visiting a coffee shop that was looted during the London riots, The Duchess was again spotted with an Alexander McQueen ensemble.

Although known to be a "thrifty" Duchess, Kate Middleton stepped out in a military-style silk blouse with an embellished wool skirt from the high-end brand Alexander McQueen. Middleton is known to be fan of the brand since the world saw her wearing the sensationalized Sarah Burton wedding gown from the same fashion house. Aside from the wedding dress, Middleton was also spotted wearing a similarly-themed military style outfit by McQueen when the royal couple visited British troops months ago.

The military-inspired long-sleeved silk blouse Middleton wore has a cream sheer silk-georgette, vertical and horizontal navy trims, gold buttons that fasten the fit and snap fastenings on the front. According to the product description on net-a-porter, the matching skirt has a nautical navy color to match the trimmings on the silk blouse, direct front slits, gold anchor embellishments, a front flap, two side pockets, symmetrical front slits, seam details, hook fastenings and a concealed zipper.

Just recently, London was named the new fashion capital of the world, toppling New York City to the silver position, preceding Milan and Paris. This radical change in the fashion industry hierarchy was caused by the buzz that surrounded the Duchess' wedding dress by Alexander McQueen. Although Middleton is sometimes ridiculed for her "practicality" and habit of recycling outfits, the Duchess never fails to wow the crowd with the chic ensembles she wears as the future Queen of England.
