Kanye West has made an unexpected announcement during his surprise stage appearance at Drake's concert. The 39-year-old "All Falls Down" rapper publicly said that the truth behind Taylor Swift's outrage would not have been revealed if it was not for his wife's Snapchat. Kanye was thankful that Kim Kardashian was a member of the media-sharing app.

"For seven years, bruh!" Kanye began his on-stage announcement. “All I gotta say is I am so glad my wife has Snapchat 'cos now y’all can know the truth," he continued. “And ain’t no-one can talk s--- about ye no more!” The "Gold Digger" rapper added.

He then sang "Famous," not missing the controversial line where the "Red" songstress was called "that b----," according to The Sun UK.

"For all my Southside n----- that know me best, I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex -- why? I made that bitch famous," Kanye raps in his controversial single. The feud with the 26-year-old pop artist began when the music video for "Famous" was released. The explicit video shows a naked woman with a striking resemblance to Taylor.

The feud grew into an all-star celebrity spat when Kim posted Taylor and Kanye's phone conversation in her Snapchat. The MILF$ mum also unveiled the recording in an episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" on July 18. The Billboard chart-topper then took to Instagram and Twitter, claiming that she asked Kanye to play the song for her but never did. She also stated that the rapper's actions were "character assassination."

E! Online reported that Kanye called Taylor in January to talk about the lyrics in "Famous" while he shot the music video. The singer seemed to approve of the song, saying that it was "like a compliment" and "sounded very tongue in cheek."
