The upcoming sandbox title “Just Cause 3” has plenty of fans excited for its arrival, thanks to the success of its predecessor and the hype Square Enix has put around it. It was inevitable that a collector’s edition of the game would be announced, but Square Enix is taking it one step further by having the fans choose the content that will be available in the upcoming “Just Cause 3” collector’s edition.

Any fan interested in voting for any of the items can go to the official “Just Cause” website and choose from a variety of options. There are 12 items that can be voted for and it is up to the voter to choose three specific items they want and hope it ends up being in the collector’s edition.

Fans have a lot of items to choose from. There is a mini art book, which will probably have some production art for the game. A replica of the grapple hook is also available, which should be enticing for fans of the protagonist Rico.

Speaking of the game’s protagonist, there are three dioramas of Rico that fans can vote for. One will feature Rico firing his handy grappling hook, while the other two have Rico riding the top of a car and a jet respectively. Other items include a backpack, a remote controlled helicopter and more. If anyone finds the items interesting all they have to do is vote in the main “Just Cause 3” website and cross their fingers.

This apparently isn’t the first time a publisher has asked for fan input in a limited edition release as Gamespot has pointed out that game developer Deep Silver has done this twice now. The first time was through a survey for “Saint’s Row IV” and the second time was similar to “Just Cause 3” where the developer asked fans what they would want in a “Dead Island 2” premium bundle.

“Just Cause 3” is set to arrive later this year during the holiday season. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game will have “Just Cause” protagonist Rico in the Mediterranean as he explores the area with new gadgets like the new wingsuit.
