The dinosaur named "Sue," a 41-foot-long Tyrannosaurus rex, is shown on display at the Field Museum in Chicago, Illinois in this May 17, 2000 file photo. The 67 million-year-old dinosaur discovered near Faith, South Dakota, was named for Susan Hendrickson, who unearthed the giant creature. The hot question of whether dinosaurs were warm-blooded like birds and mammals or cold blooded like reptiles, fish and amphibians finally has a good answer. Dinosaurs, for eons Earth's dominant land animals until being wiped out by an asteroid 65 million years ago, were in fact somewhere in between. REUTERS

It seems like it won't be long before the official trailer for "Jurassic World" gets released. Reports claim the preview is set to debut soon as new set photos of dinosaur eggs and other images from the movie were shared online.

Screenrant claims the trailer release for "Jurassic World" is set for Thanksgiving Day at 9 p.m. The site claims the viral Jurassic World-dedicated page Masrani Global is on a countdown to some grand event. This event is supposedly the release of the trailer. "The safest bet here is that Universal plans to unveil the first official trailer for Jurassic World at that time," writer Michael Kennedy said, adding that if not on Thanksgiving, then the preview is more likely to show up on opening weekend.

Additionally, ahead of the trailer's release, more set photos have been shared courtesy of the fictional site Masrani Global. New promotional images show the company's CEO Simon Masrani, played by Irrfan Khan, and returning character Dr. Henry Wu, played by B.D. Wong. Other images, which seem to be screen grabs from "Jurassic World," revealed incubated dinosaur eggs, InGen Technologies' helicopter and a banner that says "Welcome to Isla Nublar." A skeleton of a T-Rex is also propped up on display.

In related news, Scified recently posted some photos of Lego models for the dinosaurs featured in "Jurassic World." One model specifically caught fans' attention as it's believed to be the new star in the movie. A D-Rex model gives a preview of what the dinosaur will look like as a result of DNA-tampering scientists. The dinosaur in the film was described to have translucent skin and red eyes, descriptions that are perfectly resembled in the Lego model.

As per movie director Collin Trevorro,w "Jurassic World" will feature a new "pretty badass dinosaur," a description IGN attributes to the D-Rex. The D-Rex was reportedly created by scientists to keep the interests of Isla Nublar's tourists. However, it's believed the monster is what caused the chaos in the first "Jurassic Park" film.

"Jurassic World" opens in U.S. cinemas on June 12, 2015. Hopefully, before then fans of the dinosaur-movie series will see the trailer soon, with an "expected" release on Thanksgiving Day, on Nov. 27.
