Comedian and television actor, John Stamos has announced over the weekend that he is not keen on filling in for newly fired actor of “Two and a Half Men”.

Stamos admitted that to be rumored to replace Charlie Sheen along with Rob Lowe and Matt Dillon is ‘flattering’ but he said that his career path goes to a direction not headed to CBS’s “Men”.

“I don’t want to replace anyone, especially Charlie Sheen,” Stamos was quoted by UsMagazine as telling Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS radio show.

The 48-year-old actor of Glee added, "It's just not where my head's at."

Stamos emphasized that the rumors that he is being eyed to be the next “Men” Charlie Harper is ‘flattering’ but noted that he has not been asked officially for the job.

"Nobody has officially talked to me and, quite frankly, as flattering as it is...it's really not part of my career plan right now. I'm just on a different trajectory," Stamos told Seacrest said, UsMagazine.

The ER actor insisted he has got other plans.

"I'm ready to have my own show. My head isn't going in to replace somebody," Stamos added.

Stamos reaction as possible replacement for Charlie came a day after the NBC has announced that it is not about to let go its “Parks and Recreation” star, Rob Lowe, who is Charlie Sheen’s favorite candidate to inherit his job.

Sheen as earlier reported by IBTimes has described Lowe as an old buddy and was clearly rooting for him over Stamos to be “Men” frontman.

The newly fired “Men” actor who earlier chose Stamos next to Lowe as his second favorite among the candidates has changed geared again when interviewed by Access Hollywood after Stamos’s open refusal to replace him.

"I like John, but he doesn't have what I have and the show sucks if he's on it," Sheen said of the former "Full House" actor.

Of the candidates to replace Sheen, Matt Dillon has yet to issue his take on matter.
