According to the Boston Globe, Schlossberg invoked his grandfather’s legacy while honouring Inglis. He said, “My Grandfather's legacy is kept alive by Bob’s courageous decision to sacrifice his political career to demand action on the issue that will shape life on earth for generations to come.” Bob Inglis’s re-election loss is attributed to his acceptance of climate change reality which is hotly contested by his own Republican Party.

Schlossberg has put off studying for his finals temporarily to travel to Boston to host the Profile in Courage Award at the JFK Library and Museum.
