Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson: 'We're Expecting'

It is confirmed: after weeks of speculation, Jessica Simpson is carrying a baby.

"It's True! I am going to be a mummy!" she stated on her Web site, said Access Hollywood. Though it was not clear whether this was a stab on what her costume will be on Halloween or a confirmation, the she did post a photo showing herself wearing a maternity costume and her baby bump.

During the celebration of her fiancé Eric Johnson's 32nd birthday, Huffington Post reports that the singer/reality show star did participate in the champagne toast, but reportedly sent back her glass of bubbly.

"The source close to the singer and the former NFL player who told InTouch that the pair is expecting their first child also divulged that Simpson is already experience pregnancy cravings," reports Huffington Post on the cravings that Simpson might currently be having.

Simpson rose to fame in 1999 when she started as a recording artist. She is also well-known for her marriage to former 98 Degrees member Nick Lachey, and their MTV reality show with. They divorced in 2006, and she began dating Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, Then, in 2010, she began dating Johnson, to whom she is now engaged.

Although there are no problems arising, The Hollywood Gossip reports that the couple are putting the wedding on hold "indefinitely." There are plenty of reasons, and one of them may be that they want their precious bundle of joy to be present at their ceremony.

Before Simpson became an expecting mother, there were paparazzi photos of her seen with a big bump on her belly.
