The Los Angeles Lakers held their NBA Media Day 2014 last Sept. 29 to reintroduce the old and new Lakers playing for the squad in the upcoming 2014-2015 NBA Season.

There are lots of burning questions to be answered for the popular NBA squad. Coming off one of their worst seasons in the history of the franchise, a bounce back year is the target for this mix of veterans and up-and-comers.

For Kobe Bryant, it's about proving that he can still be one of the top players in the NBA despite the rash of major injuries/surgeries even at the ripe age of 36 years old. Same can be said of 40-year-old Steve Nash, who is most likely suiting up for the final year of his long and colourful NBA career.

Then there are the new acquistions in Jeremy Lin, who was acquired by L.A. in an offseason trade with the Houston Rockets. Can the Asian-American star prove his worth as a legit starter in the league? Rookies Jordan Clarkson (2nd round pick) and Julius Randle (7th overall pick) will also look to contribute early in their respective NBA careers. Veteran Carlos Boozer meanwhile wants to extend his floundering NBA career.

Coming back to Lakers Nation are "Swaggy P" Nick Young, Jordan Hill, Robert Sacre and Xavier Henry among other role players.

Will the Lakers battle for at least a playoff spot in the tough Western Conference?
