Jennifer Lopez who was Ellen's guest on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, put rumour mills to rest after categorically denying any plans of marrying boyfriend Casper Smart in the coming year.

The dancer-singer, who was on the show to talk about her new show "Shades of Blue" which airs on Jan 7, said she had spent her New Year at Miami, with her boyfriend Chris. When Ellen pressed her about her future, J Lo revealed that "there is no wedding" on the cards for them.

When Ellen said she didn’t believe the “First Love” singer, pointing out that the last time Jennifer was on the show she had denied being back with Chris, only to announce they were back on Instagram a few days later. Jennifer insisted that that was not the case.

“I give you the most truthful answer I can. No. No Wedding. Honest!” she insisted.

The duo also discussed Jennifer’s holidays, when J Lo revealed that she had given Chris a Tuxedo for Christmas, while she had given her daughter and son a Netherland dwarf bunny and a computer respectively. She also revealed that Chris had given her some jewellery.

"Shades of Blue" is an upcoming American police procedural, legal, crime drama television series set in New York City. The television series which will air its pilot on Jan 7 on NBC, stars Jennifer Lopez as the main character Harlee Santos, a single-mother and NYPD Detective, who is forced to work in the FBI's anti-corruption task force, while dealing with her own financial problems.

Jennifer who rose to popularity after being cast as a Fly Girl dancer on "In Living Color" has two children, Maximilian David and Emme Maribel.

She has been married three times till date, to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony, respectively. The "Monster In Law" actress has been in an on and off relationship with dancer and choreographer Casper Smart, since 2011.
