Jennifer Aniston has been the subject of pregnancy rumours for a while now. The former "Friends" actress recently opened up about the pressures that the people put on her to become a mother. She said that it is not fair to call a woman a failure if she has not given birth to a child. Justin Theorux's fiancée said that people are "selfish" to say that she is not inclined towards motherhood.

"I don't like [the pressure] that people put on me, on women -- that you've failed yourself as a female because you haven't procreated. This continually is said about me: that I was so career-driven and focused on myself, that I don't want to be a mother," she said to Allure magazine. According to Aniston, she may not have given birth to a baby but that does not mean that she is not mothering. She feels that if you are loving a dog and friend's children, it would also be motherhood.

Aniston is currently enjoying a great phase of her career. She recently earned a Golden Globe and Screen Guild Actors nomination for her role in "Cake," according to Daily Mail. The actress plays Claire Simmons in the film. The character is an acerbic woman who is facing challenges after meeting with an accident. She joins a chronic-pain support group and develops fascination for a woman's suicide case. She goes on a mission to unearth all the details about the suicide.

This is one of the rare roles for the 45-year-old actress, as she is appearing in a de-glam avatar. "Cake" was screened at 2014 Toronto International Film Festival and it reportedly received a standing ovation. The film has also been selected to close the Hollywood International Film Festival.

Aniston was also seen in the "Horrible Bosses" sequel. She reprised her role as a sex-addicted dentist in the comedy film. "Horrible Bosses 2" follows the story of three friends, Nick, Dale, and Kurt, who plan to start their own business. When investor Burt Hanson tries to ruin their business, they devise a plan to kidnap his son in order to get their business back. The film opened in the movie theatres on Nov. 26 and met with the lukewarm critic response.
