Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux recently tied the knot with family and friends as witnesses but not all of Aniston’s friends in the TV sitcom “Friends” made it to the wedding guest list. Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry give their reaction to the wedding snub.

Matthew Perry, who portrays “Friends” character Chandler Bing,” admitted to People that he was surprised to hear about Jennifer Aniston’s wedding held last Wednesday, Aug. 6, at the couple’s Bel Air home. “They're a lovely couple, and I'm happy for them,” Perry stated in the People report.

When asked if he regrets missing the wedding ceremony, Perry revealed he was not given an invitation. “I wasn’t invited. So what can you do?” Perry responded.

Matt LeBlanc, who portrays Joey Tribbiani in the NBC comedy series, gave his reaction to the wedding snub while attending a Television Critics Association (TCA) press event in Los Angeles on Monday. LeBlanc admitted he was not disappointed that he did not receive an invitation to the Aniston-Theroux wedding ceremony.

“If she wanted me there, I would have been there,” LeBlanc told People. Despite the wedding snub, LeBlanc thinks Aniston is happy and that is all he cares about.

This is the second time that LeBlanc missed Aniston’s special day. LeBlanc recounted he was working on a small-budget film in Austria when Aniston married Pitt in 2000.

People reports that “Friends” cast members Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow were among the 70-plus family and friends present at the intimate Aniston-Theroux wedding. LeBlanc explained the “Friends” cast will always be their own special family.

On Monday night, Ed Helms and Richard Lewis also said congratulations to the newlywed couple. Helms shared to People that he has known Justin Theroux for a long time and he has worked with Aniston in the film “We’re the Millers.”

“They're both incredibly genuine, down-to-earth people in person. And it doesn't hurt that they're both incredibly good looking,” Helms stated. Lewis, who was also not invited to the wedding, joked that he will watch the Aniston-Theroux wedding on YouTube.

Lewis, who will appear with Aniston in the upcoming “She’s Funny That Way” film, recounted that the 46-year-old “Friends” star looked happy when he ran into her and then fiancé Justin Theroux at a hotel. “I'm thrilled for both of them. They're lovely people,” Lewis stated in the People report.
