Needless to say, the pressure is on Apple to bring out an impressive device with cutting-edge configurations and features. However, the latest news is that, the Apple iPhone 7 would likely flaunt 7000 series aluminium to get the killer premium-look.

According to UDN, the Apple iPhone 6 successor, also known as iPhone 7 or iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus, might flaunt 7000 series aluminium utilised in the Apple Watch Sport. On the other hand, MacRumors site says, Apple's custom series of 7000 aluminium alloy is apparently designed to be 60 percent stronger when compared to other forms of aluminium. Plus, this aluminium alloy reportedly comes with one-third the density of stainless steel, in addition to maintaining the much-preferred light weight.
Meanwhile, according to Apple, the series 7000 aluminium casing used in the Apple Watch Sport is reportedly “machined, polished and blasted with microscopic zirconia beads to achieve a consistent satin texture.” To top it off, a unique anodizing process on the exterior of the device apparently creates a hard layer, which protects the handset from scratches and corrosion.
