A new set of leaked photos of the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Pro and iPhone 7 Plus emerged last weekend from the Chinese social media site Weibo. The photos claim to be spy shots of the anticipated iPhone 7 beside the Pro and Plus version for comparison.

The leaked photos and videos appear to be from the same source, Weibo. The units shown seem to be consistent too. A video of the supposed iPhone 7 dummy unit was also reported not long ago.

The current leaked images still feature the redesigned antenna line and missing earphone jack, the latter being topic of worry for a lot of iPhone users online. The iPhone 7 is also confirmed to come in different colours. TechCrunch reported image leaks showing four units in different colours: red, blue, yellow and green.

The leaked images and video are of poor quality, which makes verification difficult. Apple has yet to confirm or disprove the legitimacy of the claims. Some netizens are convinced that the leaks are fake despite claims of the featured phones being dummy units. The odd “S” labelling was featured in 9to5Mac's reported images leaks. The labelling at the back of the iPhone 7 units was pointed out as proof against the validity of the claims. Others pointed out that the cameras looked unnatural and photoshopped.

The iPhone 7 Pro feature a dual camera system in the criticised image. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, however, features a large single lens camera. The single lens camera feature has been consistent in the leaks and a topic of debate.

A lot of users continuously point out that the protruding camera design was a bad choice by Apple. The dual lens camera system has unfortunately received similar criticisms.

The newer leaks have been focusing on the physical aspects of the speculated iPhone 7. There have been no changes to the initial rumours regarding iPhone 7’s internal specs.
