New additions to the cast of "Insurgent" are recently confirmed as Bradley Cooper's girlfriend Suki Waterhouse reportedly joins Shailene Woodley and Theo James in the "Divergent" sequel with "Chasing Mavericks" star Jonny Weston's deal in final negotiations.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Suki Waterhouse, a 22-year-old British actress and model, has been cast to play Marlene, a character that was supposed to be in "Divergent" but has been cut out.

Waterhouse is reportedly set to become a member of the Dauntless faction, one of the five factions in the world created by the "Divergent" series author Veronica Roth said to be dedicated to courage, bravery and fearlessness.

Aside from "Insurgent," Suki Waterhouse is also appearing in the British-American romantic comedy movie "Love, Rosie" based on the 2004 novel by Cecelia Ahern titled "Where Rainbows End."

Meanwhile, according to Variety, "Chasing Mavericks" star Jonny Weston is also set to join Waterhouse and other returning cast Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Jai Courtney and Zoe Kravitz.

Weston's role in the movie is unconfirmed while his deal is still in final negotiations.

Aside from "Insurgent," Weston is also appearing in "Project Almanac" as David Raskin and in "Taken 3," which is currently filming for a 2015 release.

In another Variety report, Olivia Spencer who is more recognised for her role in the movie "The Help," has been earlier reported to be also joining Woodley and James, both reprising their "Divergent" roles as Tris and Four.

According to the report, Spencer is set to play Johanna, the leader of the Amity faction, one of the five factions said to be dedicated to peace and trust.

Another new addition to the cast is "The Hunger Games" star Stephanie L. Schlund, who confirmed on her Twitter account @1StephanieLeigh that she has accepted a role in the second installment of Summit's "Divergent" franchise.

"Insurgent," which follows the success of another dystopian movie "The Hunger Games" is set for a 2015 release. Reports confirm that the movie is currently filming in Atlanta in the U.S. with Shailene Woodley, Theo James and the rest of the cast.
