Everybody knows what a traditional wedding is like - a grand reception, a lovely white gown, and a five-tier cake. Newly-engaged Australian-born rapper Iggy Azalea has revealed that she wanted her upcoming wedding with Los Angeles Lakers star Nick Young to follow the traditional style.

Iggy interacted with some of her fans on Twitter, who asked her how she was preparing for the wedding after she got engaged with the professional basketball player. She tweeted one lucky fan, who asked her how she has been enjoying life now that she is about to get hitched.

According to Iggy, everything is going well. She also revealed that she has already made up her mind about how she wants her wedding to be like. It will be a traditional style of wedding for the “Fancy” hit maker. Another fan tweeted Iggy and said that she would more likely opt for a coloured bridal gown instead wearing the usual white colour of wedding dress, but the Australian flawless rapper opposed to the idea. She said she is definitely going to wear either “white or ivory” on her big day.

Iggy met Nick through in November 2013. He is her first relationship since breaking up with rapper A$AP Rocky. She got engaged to Nick after almost two years of dating. Nick proposed to her on the day that he celebrated his 30th birthday. He gave her a huge yellow diamond engagement ring that reportedly costs around half a million dollars. The couple also took to social media to announce their engagement to their fans and supporters.

Hollywood Life reported that Nick made sure to pick the right engagement ring for Iggy. Jason Arasheben, who is the chief executive officer of Jason of Beverly Hills where the ring was bought, told the entertainment website that the Lakers player was very much “involved” in designing the ring.

There is no date set for the newly-engaged couple’s wedding yet, but it has been said that they intend to marry next year. The wedding will be the first for both. Nick has a three-year-old son, Nick Jr., from a previous relationship.
