Paige Cantlin, CEO and founder of restaurant-bill-payment start-up Full Society, has the perfect solution for finding success: “Do not date!” Her schedule-maximising strategy involves finding things that she enjoys, and not to spend time looking for Mr Right. Cantlin feels that women spend their time looking for the perfect mate instead of focusing on themselves and careers.

Cantlin, 28-year-old investment advisor and entrepreneur, is neither a misandrist nor celibate. She loves male company but does not go all out of her way to be in a steady relationship. "I love men — they are fascinating and valuable creatures," she says, quotes Fast Company. She feels that women can meet “higher quality of men” by pursuing varied interests. “I don’t see any reason to spend time looking for someone when I could be doing fun stuff in life I actually enjoy,” says Cantlin.

Cantlin, the consummate career woman, ended a serious relationship four years ago. Since then, she has enjoyed being with men but finds other things like building up a company or running a marathon in Antarctica more enjoyable. She also has reservations about rushing in to a steady relationship in your 20s. Cantlin also believes in taking help of technology to freeze her eggs to postpone her pregnancy. She considers it selfish to have children at this day and age, when there are many homeless kids languishing in foster care.

Cantlin says that many of her friends and relatives are curious about her life choices. She in fact reiterates that many women would be in happier if they followed her model in life. While most women may disagree, Cantlin has been finding it hard to persuade men that she is looking only for a casual relationship. There have been hurt feelings and therefore, she exclusively goes out with men who understand her sense of independence.

Cantlin is the CEO of Full Society, which develops apps for easy payment of restaurant bills right from their phones. In fact, she got this idea while on a bad date that she needed to get out really fast.
