Ian Somerhalder has posted a picture, where he is seen directing “The Vampire Diaries” season 8. He has directed episode 8 of the TV series, known as “We Have History Together.” While he is busy with the series finale, his wife Nikki Reed has been advocating for different social causes.

On Thursday, “The Vampire Diaries” actor posted a picture on his Instagram page. He is seen holding a camera and filming something. The caption reads, “My episode airs next FRIDAY night Jan 13th. I truly loved directing this episode of #vampirediaries.” Hence, it can be assumed that the picture has been taken while he was directing episode 8 of the show.

“Twilight” actress Nikki Reed seems to be supporting social agendas that might be beneficial for the country. She has posted articles on Donald Trump’s climate policies. Recently, a famous daily used the male symbol on their cover for a woman’s march ceremony. Nikki has posted that on her Twitter page, trying to draw attention to these accidental mistakes.

The couple has spent their holidays on the beach and is going steady in their marriage. They were seen lying next to each other on the beach amid a beautiful surrounding. While Ian opted for a pair of white shorts and a hat, Nikki was flaunting her well-toned body in a green bikini. Ian considered it to be his “favorite moment of 2016.” The couple will be coming up with a new series for the CW as producers of “Transcience.” The series is going to be developed with Warner Bros for the TV network. It is written by award-winning screenwriter Thomas Brandon, who will also supervise the work of the show.

“The Vampire Diaries” season 8 episode 8, “We Have History Together,” has been directed by Ian Somerhalder and will be aired on Jan. 13. The US audience will get to see the show on The CW at 8PM. In Australia, the final season will be telecasted on FOX8. While Ian Somerhalder is promoting his directorial episode, Nikki Reed is standing up for different social causes.
