Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev may have ended their romantic relationship but "Vampire Diaries" fans can still see the ex-couple cozy up on the small screen as characters Damon Salvatore and Elena Gilbert like the new romantic photo shared on Twitter.

Joshua Butler directs the upcoming Season 5 Episode 2 of the CW TV series "Vampire Diaries" where the shared the cozy photo on his Twitter account came from. The image shows Ian and Nina happy and in-love as Damon and Elena.

Mr Butler posted the image with the caption that reads: "#LiveFromMysticFalls: @IanSomerhalder + @NinaDobrev = EPIC #TVD ROMANCE #Delena #TVD 5×02 #DirectorPride." The question on whether Elena and Damon will be happy forever will be answered when "Vampire Diaries" Season 5 returns to air on Thursday, October 3, since exciting scenes with a lot of bends are expected to unfold.

Aside from the romantic photo shared on Twitter, an adorable image of Ian Somerhalder was shared on the social networking site as well. "Vampire Diaries" co-star Kat Graham shared the candid image of the 34-year-old heartthrob actor pouting at her during a flight back to Atlanta from a TVD convention in Dallas, Texas with the caption that reads: "Ian being innocent on our flight back to ATL."

On September 22 to September 24, Ian Somerhalder will be taking a break again from his busy work schedule on the "Vampire Diaries" to attend the 2013 Social Good Summit in New York City. The actor will be a speaker along with the other ones lined-up such as Al Gore, Astronaut Ron Garan and Barbara Bush of Global Health Corps.

The Social Good Summit, an event held throughout the UN Week, brings together a lively group of advocates like Ian Somerhalder and the co-founders of RYOT.org Bryn Mooser and David Darg. The Summit will discuss on the influence of joining digital media and activism to make a change.
