It's still a long way until the cast of the upcoming movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey is revealed. So for now, let's just dwell into the countless of polls about the dream cast. From the actors who should play Christian Grey to actresses considered for Anastasia Steele the list is never ending.

It's quite a known fact that one of the frontrunners to take on the lead role for the movie is "Vampire Diaries" star, Ian Somerhalder. Besides, who could resist those eyes and that cunning smile?

In a previous interview and knowing how he is currently associated with the fictional character of Christian Grey, he reminisced about an incident at a bookstore where he locked eyes with a woman who was buying the book.

"You could see her blushing for a second. She saw that I saw the book, and I just smiled at her and said, 'It's a good read, huh?' And she goes, 'This so embarrassing,'" he teased.

Adding more to the rumors and suspicions, he was previously asked if he thinks Mr. Grey would volunteer in a foundation just like he would.

"Of course he'd volunteer for our foundation. Mr Grey is a sucker for opportunity and challenge...as a volunteer? Mr. Grey would be able to harness the corporate world to serve and obey the mission of the foundation, and he'd do it with a sparkle in his eyes and a smile across his mouth," he said.
