Fans of "Fifty Shades of Grey" may have to wait a while before the names of the cast are revealed. In the meantime, they can just vote and debate on countless polls regarding the Christian Grey casting.

On March, Universal Pictures and Focus Entertainment managed to acquire "Fifty Shades of Grey" so fans have at least a full year to conspire on the cast. Who would be the best choice to play as Christian Grey in the movie? Who will be Anastasia Steele? For now, everything about the casting is still a blur.

With all the rumors that surrounded the upcoming film, there were five actors in Hollywood that have all been consistently part of the top five in polls and surveys. These actors are Matt Bomer, Henry Cavill, Ian Somerhalder, Ryan Gosling and Alexander Skarsgard.

Each of them looking exceptionally handsome and a fit to take on the coveted role that may change their fame status around. And some of them already spoke about how they feel about being considered as cast.

"I think they have a very big job ahead of them casting this role. I can't say anything other than it's a very interesting story, and whoever plays that role is going to have a lot of fun [come] rehearsal time," Ian Somerhalder once said in an interview.

Meanwhile, Matt Bomer also cleared things up when asked whether he was offered the role. He denied rumors and confirmed that no one has phoned him yet.

"Did you ask whether I've been approached to play the part? No," Matt said. "I'm incredibly flattered by and grateful for the response, for sure, but yeah, I guess that's all I can say about that."

As for the other three remaining actors, they've all been consistently included in the list. But since nothing has been confirmed from the author and the producer of the film, conclusions are still swirling around.
